NEW BEGINNERS

Thinking about trying kickboxing but feeling a little unsure or nervous? You’re not alone, and our beginner kickboxing courses in North London are the perfect place to start!

These 1-hour classes are designed especially for newcomers, giving you a solid introduction to the fundamentals of kickboxing in a fun, supportive, and encouraging environment. You’ll learn the basic techniques at a comfortable pace, build your confidence, and get a great workout at the same time.


Whether you’re just looking to try something new, boost your fitness, or eventually work your way through the belts, this course is a great first step. Everyone starts somewhere, why not start with us?

KICKBOXING

Springhealth offers inclusive kickboxing classes suitable for all fitness levels and experience. Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to advance, classes are tailored to your ability and goals. A structured Graded System from White to Black Belt is available, with graded sessions held Monday to Thursday at 7:15 PM. Friendly, qualified instructors provide the training needed for progression. Additionally, a variety of specialised kickboxing classes are offered to suit specific objectives. Alongside fitness, students gain valuable self-defence skills and confidence.

TABATA (HIIT)

If you’re looking for a fun and challenging way to push your fitness to the next level, our Tabata with Strength & Conditioning classes are a perfect fit! Tabata is one of the most effective forms of High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT), designed to work your entire body through short bursts of intense effort.

These sessions mix cardio, strength, and conditioning exercises to keep things fresh and exciting—no two workouts are ever the same! It’s a great way to shake up your routine, boost your endurance, and get fighting fit. Plus, with the fast-paced format, your heart will be pumping and your body will stay guessing what's coming next.

Whether you're new to HIIT or looking to level up your training, these classes are a fantastic way to stay strong, energised, and motivated.


SPARRING

This is a great opportunity to put your kickboxing skills into practice in a more advanced and realistic setting. Our sparring sessions are carefully structured to be both safe and developmental, helping you bridge the gap between training drills and live application.

You'll be working in a controlled environment where the focus is on learning, not winning. It’s all about applying the techniques and movements you’ve been developing in class—at your own pace and comfort level. Our skilled and supportive instructors will be right there to guide, encourage, and give feedback, ensuring you grow with confidence every step of the way.


Kick and stretch

In this class, we get the focus pads and bags out and go all in on power and speed. The aim is to hit harder and faster, often for longer bursts either with a partner or on your own. It’s a proper test of your endurance and grit. We wrap things up with some core work, then finish off with a good stretch to help improve flexibility and get those kicks higher and cleaner. Stretching also helps prevent injuries and keeps you moving well for the next session.

Muay Thai

While we're a kickboxing gym at heart, we also offer Muay Thai classes for those looking to level up their striking game. Known as the art of eight limbs, Muay Thai brings elbows, knees, and clinch work into play, giving you even more tools and techniques to work with. It’s a great way to build power, control, and confidence, whether you’re just starting out or looking to sharpen your skills.

MIXED ABILITY

This is a fun, welcoming class where students of all experience levels train together. Whether you're just starting out or have been kickboxing for a while, everyone’s encouraged to join in. Each week has a different focus, sometimes it’s technique, other times it’s fitness or combos, so it always stays fresh, exciting, and challenging. You’ll pick up new skills, get a great workout, and enjoy the supportive vibe. There's always something new to learn, and plenty of encouragement along the way!

SMASH AND CORE

In this high-energy class, we bring out the focus pads and bags for a serious workout. You’ll work with a partner or solo, throwing faster, harder combos to build power and stamina. Expect longer rounds that really test your endurance. We finish with some core work to strengthen your abs and support your kicks and punches. It’s a fun, challenging session that leaves you feeling strong and accomplished!

KIDS CLASSES

Kids Kickboxing Classes (Ages 7–12 & Coming Soon: 4–6)
Our kids' classes are designed to support your child’s development in key areas like confidence, focus, discipline, coordination, and overall wellbeing—all while having fun and learning martial arts!

We currently run a fully booked class for ages 7–12 on Tuesdays at 4:30pm

(45 minutes). Due to high demand, we’re adding a new Thursday class at 4:30pm starting in early 2025, spaces are limited,

We’re also excited to be launching a class for ages 4–6 on Tuesdays at 3:45pm (30 minutes) very soon! Let us know if you'd like updates on when it opens.

Classes follow school term times (6–7 week blocks) with no sessions during half-term or holidays. We also offer optional grading opportunities and may run a summer camp.

Each session introduces kids to the fundamentals of kickboxing in a supportive and fun environment. We focus on developing individual strengths, improving fitness, and building important life skills.
